Wine
San Gervasio is tucked away in an enchanting position, 25 km east of Pisa, on the gentle hills surrounding the valley of the river Era. The estate covers 400 hectares, of which 22 are under cultivation with grapes, at between 160 and 200 meters above sea level. The Mediterranean climate, with its abundance of sun, dry air and sea breezes, is ideal for the cultivation of quality grapes.
Our wines mirror the pristine nature of the countryside in which the grapes are grown. The result is balanced and complex wines reflecting both the care given to the vineyards and the mineral content of the soil, due to its marine origins..Sangervasio produces wines with a contemporary style, made with the contribution of international varieties, but mostly with local grapes, which are the estate’s main focus: Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon; Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Vermentino and Trebbiano.
